Nooooo!!! Some of the most fun I had in vanilla was heading to these unfinished little spots, like this, the World Tree, and IIRC there was an empty Dwarf camp on the far side of the Plaguelands.

Better take some screens there before it's gone for good...

Micro Center has gotten alot better as far as gaming and gaming accessories, at least in their Tustin, CA store. They have a side room that's like a Game Stop without the attitude. I used to live at their St. Davids, PA store. Got my first LCD TV there... a 30" $799 PowerSpec. ahh mem'ries.

According to my (Philips) TV, the signal is 240p (I assume the original 320x240 resolution). Sounds like an issue of the TV not being able to accept that input. I'm playing Art of Fighting fine on my 16x9 1080p set. Whether or not it should scale to 480p is another topic altogether...

I really hope the SIXAXIS controls work well. I loved neGcon control way back when, motion controls seem like a perfect fit for Wipeout if done well.

I guess that's not mano-a-mano but still...

I've been kind of sick of my 360 for a while, but I took my "quirky" 360 (no RROD, just had to turn it on and off multiple times from a cold start) in for the service plan I was under and upgraded to an elite for the price difference (current, not past). The HDMI and HDD upgrade seemed to make it worthwile, as well as the audio out ($50 separate with HDMI cable) brick it comes with. I kinda dislike the black though.

I *do* however like the fact that when I turn it off now it stays on a few minutes spinning the fan down and cooling off. I guess that's the new heatsink/fan system.

I seriously can't see there being any price drop this year. Any price drop would be seen as a panic reaction to PS3 and Wii... the next generation is still in it's infancy. If anything I could see them sweetening up the premium pack... adding in a play and charge kit, or maybe even a wireless adapter.
