Hey, is this whole game written in kana? It would be another good one to practice with after Pokémon Platinum ^_^

The quick startup of ZooKeeper is something makers of bigger games should take note of. Too many have ginormous load times and especially those annoying logo screens that can't be skipped.

ZooKeeper is also the game that comes closest to the real Bejeweled on the DS. Puzzle Quest is also good, but turns it into a player vs. AI game.

RPG ftw!

RTS is too hectic, and too strategic. RPGs have better storylines (or at least, it's possible to have them, depending on the writers and especially their editors).

I'm planning on buying some basic text/workbooks, My Japanese Coach (for variety), and the Japanese edition of Pokemon Platinum (to keep it fun) soon.

I have no use for the new features, so until games come out that are region-locked (I import nearly all my games from the USA) I won't be buying one.

Games being region free was one of the best features of the DS.

It's a wait-and-see-what-happens for me. The SD slot, extra memory and download stuff could make it necessary to get a DSi if new games start depending on them, but the cameras are just gimmicks.

The Joystiq comparison says "256×192" pixels on the DSi. That's the exact same dimensions as the DS. So that would mean that the resolution in dots per cm is actually lower!

So, are the new screens only taller, but not wider? That's not very useful.

And what use are cameras on a gaming device anyway?
