RAID1 in itself is not backup, but RAID1 in an external drive for *copies* of laptop files is more robust than a non-RAID1 external drive, wouldn't you agree? Even if the device was not used for backup, would I be wrong to think my files would be better protected from drive-failure when stored in this product compared to being stored in the single-drive on the harddrive?

Is my memory fuzzy or was U9 not that bad? If I remember correctly, I ran it on a Pentium Pro with Voodoo2 cards in SLI and I quite enjoyed exploring Britannia in 3D. Not super fast, but I played some of U6 on an 8086... must have been one frame per second. Even got the dragon edition box. Of course, I've long lost interest in Ultima now that the single-player experience is dead so I only hesitated a bit before putting that dragon edition into the trash recently.

All the stations I listen to are in wma streaming (mms) format, so this is useless to me.

Is there really such a thing as F+? Just barely failed? Right up there with 'mostly dead' vs 'all dead'.

It would be awesome if somehow this can work in reverse and allow the device to view the photos on a remote storage. I have a digital picture frame that takes a storage card... it would be nice to view all my centrally-stored photos from the frame without having to refresh the photos on it.
