How would you change Apple's MacBook Air?
Feb 9th 2008 3:33AM (Engadget)Apple has been pushing the 'digital hub' agenda for so long; it seems like a step backwards to produce a laptop with a smaller hard drive than an ipod. We have produced a generation of consumers who have been taught the need to 'sync' their devices. They compare all technology to their ipod.
I would rather give up screen size than performance and usability. And times are tough, price it accordingly.
Yes, thin is great. But I'd rather be a little fatter with a 2.5" SATA drive, user-replaceable battery, ethernet, and Firewire 800 connectivity.
I'm A-OK with the external optical drive.
Keep up the good work, Steve- but don't forget about us little people.
