BioWare developer wants to augment your virtual diversity (still)

@Klearwater Killer Because race is a pretty big freaking deal. Do't know if you heard of all the BS the President has gone through but yes, race still matters.

@LaughingTarget that's also part of it I think. If we're playing games set in the future then shouldn't any population from Earth be very diverse since ideally the entire Earth is unified against aliens?

@Kresh Diversity is good because it's a reflection of real life. Furthermore, what's wrong with adding someone of a different race, sexuality identity, of gender and just have them present and not conform to stereotypes? Look at Kanji from Persona 4, a well done homosexual character for a videogame. As a minority, I would love to play a videogame where the black character a)doesn't talk ebonics, b) moveset or past isn't based on sports or dance, and c)isn't just a white person they changed to black at the very last minute (if you played the original persona you know what i'm talking about).

@Samus Shepard But last I checked 10% of the population identifies as queer, so to say only 2% is actually much lower. And that's not including bisexuality and other pansexualities.

Capcom talks Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 leaks and new features

@xxZOMBIExx So do you get mad when Ford or Chevy release updates of their cars with new features not in the previous year's model? You don't cry that the cars are incomplete do you? Or when computer companies build newer machines to the previous model, in some cases just months after that one model was released? None of these projects are half completed. They are done as of the date of release, but things evolve, things change. It's life baby and if you can't accept that there's always a second generation of something right around the corner, then I have some sad news for ya.

@Soroks Thank you!! I'm tired of folks not understanding how much something is worth when it terms to actual enjoyment. Given the amount of time and energy I put into MvC3 it was more than worth it and with all these new additions I feel the same. Thank you for articulating this. :)
