Street Fighter X Tekken's 12 PS Vita characters will come to console [update]

Mar 3rd 2012 3:45AM (Joystiq)
I'd still like the chance to play as Pac-Man and Fat MegaMan, outside of the Sony versions.

I wonder how many people will show up for Street Fighter X Tekken instead (or as well)?

Wait, now doesn't this confirm that Dan will be in SFXTK?

"Overture 1928" by Dream Theater, any of the finger-breaking, face-melting solos, because it's freaking Dream Theater.

@Faenix Damn look at that pen. If your handwriting isn't stellar that pen will likely snap your fingers off in retaliation. I want Ghost Trick now!

@version3 They have the pre-order offer up on Ubisoft.com main page, but here's the link just in case you'd rather click once instead of twice: http://shop.ubi.com/store/ubina/en_US/pd/ThemeID.8605600/productID.202892000/Scott-Pilgrim-Vs-The-World-The-Game.html

Scott Pilgrim vs. the world of video games

@Jawmuncher The sound effect they used in the first trailer was taken, I'd bet even money on, right from Street Fighter Alpha 3. Though, I don't think that it'll be in the actual movie, unless they're ending that fight in a completely different manner from the book (not like they aren't changing a bunch of other stuff anyway).

Swag Saturday: Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 controllers for all those holiday games

Nov 15th 2009 5:35AM (Joystiq)
My story begins many moons ago, when the Super Nintendo first fell into the eager mitts of gamers here in the United States. After months of staring at looping displays of Super Mario World through sealed glass windows it was finally my turn to take the controls in my very own living room. For Christmas my brothers and I got a Super Nintendo along with a copy of F-Zero. I was so excited to start racing at speeds counted in hundreds rather than tens, but just as I was about to get the everything going my grandparents dropped by. I have my grandfather to thank for getting me into video games. He was the one who bought an Atari and a boatload of games so that I'd have something to play with at my grandparent's house when I'd stay over. Anyway, so my grandfather asked me if he could try the driving game I had on the TV. I handed the controller over and came a little closer to understanding the concept of torture. As mentioned before, for those unfamiliar with F-Zero (Nintendo you should address this, just saying) it's racing game where laps can be just a few seconds and entire races can finish in minutes. With my grandfather at the controls: not so much. I watched, silently because you would never correct my grandfather, as he tapped the gas ever so lightly and inched his way along the course. I'll tell you this, those race courses look a lot better when you don't have twenty-odd minutes to stare at them. I loved my grandfather and like I said he got me into video games, but that would be the last time I ever let any adult touch one of my games before I played it.

I like to cook because cooking something is a very vague action.
