Mass Effect 3 'Extended Cut' DLC free this summer, offers 'further clarity to the ending'

Apr 5th 2012 10:43AM (Joystiq)
So let me get this straight, people flamed message boards, voted EA the worst company over the likes of Bank of America and Wal*Mart and gave 1-star reviews all over the place because they were dissatisfied with the ending, then when BioWare decides to give them exactly what they want (for free no less) people *still* complain?

I think this is why the hashtag "#wpp" was created...

@Jakintosh Oh yeah, good call. Still, I almost did a spit-take when I read the version number, but mostly because I enjoy doing spit-takes for no reason.

There aren't enough Picard face-palm pics in the world to do this justice.

EMI sues Def Jam Rapstar creators

@Liquidfingers I thought this game was awesome with a great track selection. Not a fan of some of the newer stuff like Drake or Soulja Boi (however that ass spells his name), but T.R.O.Y. by Pete Rock and CL Smooth, Juicy by Notorious BIG, Nuthin But A G Thang, Scenario and Fight The Power are some of the best hip hop songs of all time. Plus, there was some great DLC like The Humpty Dance, Regulate and Rappers Delight. Though, I do wish they had some more songs available via DLC like Gangsta's Paradise, What They Do, Jurassic Five, Blackalicious, Common, Tinie Tempah, Mos Def, Eminem and some more Outkast like Ms. Jackson and Atliens.

If you're not a fan of the genre then no way you'd enjoy the game, but my friends and I have a blast playing this and the old school music videos playing in the background are always a hit at parties.

MLB 12: The Show fouled up by online pass issues

Mar 23rd 2012 12:53PM (Joystiq)
You have to wonder, is the additional expense of paying someone to create an online pass and troubleshoot issues coupled with the drop in customer satisfaction as a result of ridiculous passes really worth it economically for these companies?
