I want games to kill this summer boredom O_o

My mp3/media player just broke, I'd love one of these!

I'm still playing Halo 3, against my better judgment. And I just picked up left 4 dead, based on my friends having 360s rather than good PCs. BUT this year, my time is spent mostly on my PS3.. Devil May Cry 4, Uncharted, Metal Gear Solid 4 and MGO, Dead Space, Grand Theft Auto 4, Soul Calibur 4, BluRay Movies, Echochrome, Pixel Junk Monsters, The Last Guy, Mirrors Edge, Resistance 2, and the one that's just taken a good month and a half of my time: Little Big Planet, I was addicted.

I know, there's the argument that half those games are on the 360 and I say to that... RRoD. The more games I play, the higher the risk of inconvenience I get for that blasted hardware problem. So I always choose my PS3 for games. Oh and I have a new reason, the NXE. It's way too much clutter, and it's a vertical XMB!!!! It's a Windows XMB... with Miis, it's annoying.

This seems to be the same situation with racism and Resident Evil 5. Three of my black friends (2 nerds and a non-nerd one) and I sat down for a discussion about this on a couple occasions of 3am drunkeness. If taken out of context it could be seen as racist, but we came up with this: That's not racist, they're fucking zombies, what else would you shoot in Africa, the lions? Oh wait, Lion Zombies, nice, scary. Besides they're not all black. Also, I'm hispanic, I didn't cry bloody murder in ResEvil4, I shot the hell out of those Spanish zombies, laughed because I understood what they were yelling.

ANYWAY, dude, it's a game, a Fat Princessy game. The artist for the game is a woman herself, she had main say over characters. Not only that but I don't have a negative opinion over women or the obese, I wouldn't be surprised at the Feminists yelling at a Dead or Alive game. I think this whole situation is being blown out of proportion. Doesn't being any kind of -ist mean you're going to be unhappy with anything anyone does? Racist, Feminist, Fascist, Extremist, etc

Honestly? Gamefly recently. Gamestop's used games are overpriced. Heck the company basically makes all their profit on used. If there's a game I absolutely must have day of, I'll get a reserve. But you have to be careful when you mention reserve, I used to work for Gamestop,I know that they swarm around you like vultures because reserves are ENFORCED. O_O I get my games from Best Buy sometimes, too. ^_^
