What EA and others will not telling you is that the used market makes them more money than they will say.... They dont need to produce a second disc for that disc to generate them extra revinue from the used market. They claim to not get a penny but they do sell add on content for the games that are sold as used. Sometimes with 2 or 3 different users on the same disc. EA didnt need to print ship or market that disc but still gets the money from all add on content bought. Games like battfield BC (so far all the downloads are free but they could charge for them) make money from each person who Now if EA charged for roster updates that would be one thing but online is something entirely different. And lets not forget that EA didnt want to be on the first xbox because they wante to control the servers. MS would have hosted them but EA wanted to be able to close down the old servers so that people who wanted to play online would be forced to buy the newer version.

Thats a BS argument since the cost of running the servers is paid by the first owner. If that owner sells his stock in the game (the disc) the value of that stock and the price EA recieved on that copy is still the same. The only way this would make since is if EA gave the game away and then charged for online. Either way im not playing.

EA has lost my future game purchases on sports titles. Sorry but 18 months on one game is 2 little when I have only had it alittle more than a year. It took a few months to drop tp $40.00. Isnt it funny you can still play the 2k football games but not EAs online.

As for live I have not missed it. COD is on my PS3 and its free to play...
