The Daily Grind: What was your longest single play session?

Jul 5th 2011 5:56PM (Massively)Activision Blizzard: RIFT players will come back to WoW
May 12th 2011 12:51PM (Massively)I've got no interest in SWTOR, just as I had no interest in SWG. Had no interest in EVE, and STO only got about six hours' playtime out of me.
Dress it up how you like, but medieval fantasy gaming has always been more popular than SF gaming. The genre alone is enough to dissuade many people from entry.
Activision Blizzard: RIFT players will come back to WoW
May 12th 2011 12:42PM (Massively)Yeah. I've bought into five new MMOs in the last six months, including DCUO, which I wanted to love, but didn't.
I've been playing Rift for two months now pretty solidly and haven't run out of things to do at level 50. I scratch my head trying to figure out how other people have run out of content, as I have 300+ hours in and haven't come close.
RIFT world event fizzles, Trion reevaluates approach [Updated]
Apr 17th 2011 2:36AM (Massively)Yes, exodus. I got in and participated in phases 2 and 3. But while I love the game, I'd have dropped it like a hot rock if I couldn't have gotten in.

Apr 14th 2011 6:55PM (Massively)Reading between the lines of 'criticism', it's pretty clear that the complainers/trolls are just worried that Rift's popularity is going to steal thunder from GW2 or ToR. Both of which are, of course, utter retreads as well.
(For me, the difference is that I've got no interest in those games and am quite enjoying Rift. )
In any case, I really wish you naysayers would go find a different hobby. Coming in here and harshing the buzz of people who enjoy the game doesn't serve any useful purpose. Remember, this isn't a game criticism site -- even if what you were offering was criticism.

Oct 20th 2008 8:26AM (WoW)Arcane Brilliance: Post-patch madness
Oct 18th 2008 9:17PM (WoW)With the Glyph of Mage Armor and full raid buffs, I was running nearly 600 MP5 while casting and was gaining mana while I was casting AM.
My rotation was to spam AB until at about 20% mana, then rotate between AM and Barrage while watching my mana bar refill, then repeat. My DPS was just as good as it was pre-patch; I just had to fondle more keys. And I never, ever had to worry about going OOM.

Sep 27th 2008 5:39PM (WoW)Mages certainly do use spirit, and when you're running T5 Arcane with Mage Armor, having 500 MP5 while casting is better than sex.
