Haven't we already met him? In season 1, I think it was in the episode The Equation when Walter went back to the hospital to speak to his former roommate, during that episode we saw two Walters having a conversation with each other. At the time we chalked it up to his being crazy, but I think that with everything that has been revealed since then, it can be inferred that we were seeing a conversation between our Walter and the alternate universe Walter.

I used to criticize Bob for posting so many commercials on this blog. But now I've come to realize that, between the DVDs and the DVRs, I actually watch so few commercials on TV that he is providing a valuable service to me by bringing my attention to the ones that need my attention.
