@The Aquacharger Really? I thought they were just planning it, I din't think they'd done it yet. No games use it yet as far as I know.

So... no mention of the 3DS version? I hope they are planning it, and are just waiting for Nintendo to implement paid for DLC.

@CrashMan "Throwback" isn't an insult, y'know. They're saying it's lik an older Resi game, same as you are (unless I mis-understand you).

@Mmmmz Who said it looked better in 3D? I said the opposite. And, yes they have cut a few corners. Some textures are not all that great, but seriously, PS1? Come on! Beleive me, I can see not everything is perfect, but it's still a damn good looking game, and the character models are nothing if not impressive.

@Nergy Yeah. I think people are forgetting that when you turn the 3D off, this game turns anti-aliasing on. AA works by rendering the images at a higher resolution, then scaling it down to fit the screen, thus smoothing the image. So these are being rendered at double the resolution, but just aren't being scaled down.
And yeah, this game really does look damn amazing!

As someone who can't afford a PS3, I'm sad this isn't coming out on the Wii.

@FreudianLemur Just managed to solve it. I was right. The instuctions on the ight are basically just the insructions for minesweeper. But in the actual game, the number on the square tells you how many empty spaces there are around (and including) it, not how many bombs there are.

But this hasn't put me off buying the game. I was already not gonna buy it.

As far as I can tell, for the minesweeper game, the instructions on the top screen contradict the instructions on the right side of the page. Or am I a little bit dim today?

Pixel-hunting? I'd call that an insult to a well made point-and-click like this. Maybe nowadays you can get away with calling a "hunt the item" game a point-and-click adventure, but but a few short years ago when this was made, you'd have been attacked on the street. I think it should work fine on a small screen.
Anyway, this wasn't really aimed at anyone here, but more a rant caused by my hatred of hidden item games being counted point-and-click adventure games.
