Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing Christmas trailer is kinda creepy {Joystiq}

Dec 23rd 2009 7:26AM The excuse is simply because he'd be too fast on foot, so he uses a car to be on par with anyone else. Besides, it is a kart racing game. You don't turn up for a street race in an F1 car.

Rumor: Gaming conventions to convene in Xbox Live {Joystiq}

Dec 1st 2009 4:52AM My god. First time I visit the comments section in months, and right away I'm reminded why I stopped bothering. The ignorance is almost painful.

And again, for the record. MS: Been there done that, since 2006.
Without the virtually environment of course, but that seems like somewhat of a natural progression with the addition of avatars.

I see no reason to believe you won't still be able to just go onto the marketplace and download the videos and demo's without the hassle of the Home-esque environment too.

Rumor: Gaming conventions to convene in Xbox Live {Joystiq}

Dec 1st 2009 4:47AM As has already been pointed out, the 360 has been doing this for E3 since way back when the 360 first launched. Every year you're able to go onto Live and download all the E3 demo's, videos, trailers and presentations, etc. Even if you're a silver member.

The only difference with this, the only thing they're adding here, is a little environment to make it slightly more immersive. I honestly don't see how you could call that "copying Sony".

Final Fantasy XIII launches March 9, 2010 on PS3, 360 {Joystiq}

Nov 13th 2009 12:01PM @B. Marriner
It's probably an avatar item, or dashboard theme. Not actual content for the game.

Nov 13th 2009 11:52AM Wait, what? North America AND Europe? Surely that's a typo.

Torchlight begins retail excursion on Jan. 5, 2010 {Joystiq}

Nov 12th 2009 2:03PM I'd buy it from Steam right now, but I'm just busy with too many other games, so I'll probably just pick up the boxed version next year sometime.

Attend Tales of Monkey Island's Trial and Execution of Guybrush Threepwood on Oct. 30 {Joystiq}

Oct 28th 2009 1:22PM In my opinion, this has been the best Monkey Island game since the original.

Readers pick best webcomic: Tweet the Deets {Joystiq}

Oct 17th 2009 6:36AM How much do cheap USB keyboards cost though?
I'm sure anyone using Twitter/Facebook on the 360 will have one.

Nintendo officially announces PokePark Wii {Joystiq}

Oct 15th 2009 11:37AM Full price and stand alone or not, it was still Halo 3: ODST.

It's not the same thing as releasing Wii games with N64 character models. That just shouldn't be acceptable, and like I said. I'm glad we finally have a more refined looking Charizard. His wings were literally flat in Battle Revolution, barley above being a sprite.

Nintendo officially announces PokePark Wii {Joystiq}

Oct 15th 2009 10:58AM Was that supposed to be a jab at ODST?

I fail to see how you can be comparing an *EXPANSION* pack for Halo 3 (a 2 year old game), to Nintendo recycling models from a decade old one.
