I... really don't know what you were trying to say. I don't think it's Joystiq that are the confusing ones here.
If you bought Sonic Adventure thinking it was Sonic Colors (or Sonic 4), then you should probably get into the habit of reading past the word "Sonic" a bit more often.

Mike Schramm really needs a promotion, or at least a raise.

@context Based off of the "If the sales figure seems a bit low" that introduced the CEO's comment on piracy, my guess is that it was brought up by the interviewer, who apparently thought 750K "seems a bit low." Again, that's just a guess.

Regardless, although it's impossible to calculate how much they lost (or "didn't lose" as may be argued) from piracy, it's probably still a concern for them. Their studio might be new, but the devs themselves are industry vets, so I imagine they're generally aware of the problem and its size/depth. If he really did bring it up without any prompting from the interviewer, I imagine it was because they made it a point not to inconvenience players with ridiculous DRM, which left it fairly open to piracy and probably left them with lingering worries.

I'd like to make one similar to the track in Tokyo Drift--one in the mountains, with lots of trees and curves, and (if it's possible) that's set at nighttime. ^^

Boss: "How many were you thinking for Splatterhouse?"
Employee: "About 300,000, sir. We figure that'll recoup our losses and produce satisfactory profits."
Boss: "Poppycock! It's an IP from people's youths--nostalgia makes things at least three times better! A million units!"
