Anyone who knows anything about cars knows that any BMW lacks the torque to really win a drag race, but will win on the track due to superior handling. That high revving 4.2L V8 spanked the C63 AMG with a 6.3L V8 around a track, or have we all forgotten?

You guys can keep the slow Honda and the overpriced Toyota, i'm keeping my E39 M5.

My Dell Stupid XPS1647 also had the issues. Dell is aware of the problem and this is the same thing they issued me 2-3 months before I ended up returning it. Dell has a great return policy, if nothing else.

I build my own computers but recently I bought myself a nice Dell XPS16 back in March 2010, I had some issues with it, returned it for an upgraded one for slightly more money.

Two months later, past the return policy period, I contacted tech support and they pretty much refunded my money. Needless to say, I love Dell's customer support. Though i'm sure I probably got better tech support than the average Dell consumer being that I spent $2k on a fully spec'd laptop.

Good god, man! What the hell do you do for a living? My story sounds like yours at the very beginning. All my friends family thinks i'm nuts for wanting a BMW, aside from thinking that the only reason I want one is for sheer status which is not the case! I've got a [lowly] 325i working my way up to an E36 M3 as that is the car I grew up adoring in my 1990's childhood.

Love the car collection, I think Mercedes are a tad girly (especially this current gen) but AMG's are an entirely different.

You've certainly got a great collection of cars and you could definitely color me jealous!

I'm not putting down American muscle, I love a thundering V8 as much as the next guy. I just can't afford the fuel, hence the i6 :D I'm just saying it feels good to whoop some cocky guy who thinks big engines are all that matters.

Yes considering I have an entry model that's old and has an underpowered and non-hypertorquey i6, yes it's quite a fun feat.

Drive a BMW and no other car. If you want to Numb the road, drive a Mercedes, if you want to feel the road with unmatched control and predictability, drive a BMW.

It feels good to do turns that other cars have to slow down for :P *cough cough* that Mustang GT who was trying to race me, but I zoomed by him with ease around a bend.

It's not an overpriced VW, it's not a pretty-princess car that devalues faster than the U.S. Dollar and they focus on what matters: Driving.
