Also, i resent the fact that you claim i don't use my brain to solve these puzzles. I hid in a door while a splicer walked past it, i came out and shot the splicer in the back of the head with a shotgun and it wouldn't die. That was a bit of strategy. Wait and shoot 'em in the back. ("just like John Wayne would do...") BUT IT DIDN'T WORK. So thanks for calling me an idiot. For the Record, Portal wasn't even a challenge for me. But maybe its just a stupid game for stupid minds.
Im Sorry, its just that, that early in the game, and to move on, that was the ONLY thing i could do. i was in a back room and couldn't do anything else. Then i moved on to the next level, and there were two more RIGHT THERE. I tried moving on, and i couldn't. Im not sure i deserve ALL of this flak, i just didn't like the gameplay. There is also another thing, idk if it makes a difference or not, but i DID play it on the 360, and idk, nothing really worked for me, the gameplay wasn't fun. So, i will PROBABLY give the 2nd a try, but i think it could use some gameplay tweaks. Im normally a strategic guy, but in that back room i was in, there was NOTHING ELSE i could do. and i didn't HAVE any mines or anything. I was a punk who wanted to move on to the next level. i didn't have ANYTHING.
Oy... Crysis requires a LOT of strategy, but it doesn't mean wasting 5 magazines on a single target. Also, at any given time, i have at least 3 options of playing through the game. I can sneak through, I can blow through, or i speed through, or however, or any combination of that. But in Bioshock, when i meet a big Daddy, and im in a back room, i have to pump him so full of lead... that i run out of ammo, i run out of mana (or eve, or adam, or w/e its called) and i have to die so i can come back. If it gets positive reviews and i hear maybe something about a change in gameplay, i might just pick it up for PC this time. But I was NOT impressed with Bioshock. I wanted to be, but i wasn't.
Idk, maybe i was playing the wrong version, but on my first level, i didn't get Mines, or ANYTHING cool. And somebody explain why unloading 10 clips into a DOCTOR doesn't kill him? seriously, i didn't like the game. Can i have my personal opinion and leave it at that?
Yes, but will the Gameplay actually be decent this time around? i heard the story for the first was awesome, but i couldn't plow through the crap-filled gameplay. Seriously, its no fun if the idea is to run full bore at a Big Daddy just so u waste your ammo and mana and then die, so u can use the little mana they give you back and do another suicide run...
