i work in a GAME store in bristol and its very hard to sell an 18+ game to someone who definatly isnt old enough to play without doing so purposefully - especially this year as the 'Challenge 21' policy now applies to Games and that was applied sometime before christmas

stupid folks, but i wouldnt be surprised if the BBFC hired someone who looked a little older - but still older than 21! i dont think so haha

i read this news quite a while ago :S a film adapation of american mcgee's alice is due out next year (also the same time as tim burtons alice in wonderland) - Universal Studios are working on it

EA said that when the rights to make a film of the game were finalised they planned to either remake or 'rework' the game to coincide with the films release and that was quite a while ago

never thought theyd do an Alice 2 though :D good stuff

p.s. i think he put his name at the front of the game title to stop people from thinking it was lewis carrols alice in wonderland as opposed to a twisted sequal of the book :P

i really dont think the real time graphics shown in both the trailers and the stills are NEVER going to run like that on the 360

it wont even look half that good, considering Epic games have already stated gears of war 2 utilises about 80-85% of the possible graphics on the xbox and the new final fantasys look WAY better than that

from what i gather i think you control the front of your body with one analogue stick, and the back of your body with the other

game looks great - sounds great - looks like it plays great - mulitplayer apparently according the folks working here its 'fooking insane' or something along those lines

i would like to see a big advertising engine in place for killzone 2, ive been a bit dissapointed in sony's europian advertising methods - none ¬__¬

and could that phoenix dude/dudess stop posting, you can normally tell what someones like and the tone they speak in based on what you can read - and you just sound really angry, and that commenting on joystiq is pretty much what your life revolves around

lets see if europe/uk can catch on with this as sony europe like to use the kind of advertising called NONE!

candafilm, you must be psycik...you knew about fat princess, resistance: retribution, the kung fu ragdoll remake/sequal, quest for booty and god of war III (last 2 did have a lot of rumours before hand but weren't officially announced) was coming out? thats a skill

when it came to showing something new - microsoft had a huge big FALE! i dont think they showed anything that no one knew was already coming out - nintendo showed some new stuff - crap - but new stuff

sony showed tons of new stuff at e3 - all microsoft did was do the mulipatform titles a favour by showing it at their show instead of the actual company behind it having to show it off

i agree with little big planet though - each show its been featured at, it manages to show more of the NEW features that media molecule are pouring into the game :D
