The US price is what I'd like to pay in the UK. £30 = $40, which in my opinion is just too much for old games. I don't think the games should be more than £10-£15/$15-20.
I'm in the UK and I'm just doing to wait a bit until they reduce the price. RRP in the UK seems to have been completely ignored recently when it comes to Wii Games, in the run up to Christmas I saw Wario Ware Smooth Moves for (what was then) about 85 USD...
