What a bad deal, especially when PS3 has blu-ray, wi-fi, and free online; while 360 has no blu-ray, no wi-fi, a 54% failure rate, and $50 a year for online. 360 is the more expensive console, nothing new here.

Now before you low rank me, just think about those facts. PS3 is the better deal here, anyone with half a brain would know that.

The features they removed are irrelevant to playing PS3 games. If anything, not having some of those features such as other OS, will encourage more people to buy it to play PS3 then buy it for some super computer calculation BS. Everyone complained about PS3's price and wanted a cheaper PS3, now you have it. They are taking irrelevant features away to save them money while still keeping the core features. I think the exchange for a cheaper price is well worth it. They could of released the slim with everything it doesn't have now but it would be $400.

Funny, awhile ago there was an article talking about the PSP Go doing quite well with pre orders with Amazon. It really does seem like everyone just wants to see it fail. I think people are forgetting that this is a fully digital ONLY device. There is no physical copy that you can purchase at walmart for games. Your money will go much further with this then a Zune, especially if it gets hacked. I still think they're testing the waters with this device.

They can do this because they're Sony. Yeah, they are competing against DS but they're for two completely different crowds. Your little sister isn't buy a PSPGO so she can download games because she has no idea how to do that. It's for a more older and mature crowd. A lot of people are preordering this already.

I wouldn't say the same about the PS3. I think they're either losing money with each PS3 sold or they break even. Either way, they PS3 isn't overpriced and it never has been. 360 and Wii are, the Wii especially.

GT5P launched with around 75 cars and 6 tracks. It's quite obvious GT5 will be A LOT bigger then any racing game in existence. They can afford to put this much development time into the game due to the fact that Sony is paying for it, GT5P sold over 3 million, and the GT series is just popular and is guaranteed sales over 2 million. I think the wait is worth it. I would buy a 360 and Forza to keep me busy until it comes out. When it drops I'm sure it'll blow everyone away. They aren't in a rush to put this game out because it's a high quality franchise. It'll be polished to death, more then Killzone 2 and MGS4.It'll be a real racing sim as well. Forza 3 looks more like a derby arcadish racing game for casuals.

With a multiplat game? I was expecting this price drop to come around with GT5, the highest selling PS and racing game. It could be $50 and $50 when GT5 launches.
