Not sure where you get that the reaction from teh gaming community has been flat. There has been almost universal praise of the system and it won numerous best of E3 awards. The gaming community is cautiously optimistic at worst.

This is more impressive then the red paper clip people keep mentioning. First off red paperclip had a following and publicity which helped garner trades which were greater than he would have been able to get otherwise (a Quebec radio personality for example traded a snowmobile for a keg of beer just for the publicity). Secondly, red paper clip travelled to all the places to make the trades, which were across the continent. The cost of his travels would be well into the thousands of dollars.

Meh. I don't think it's that bad. Firstly you obviously have the ability to turn it off. Secondly the video was obviously cut to show them constantly talking. i'm sure it's not that frequent. Mini is known for tryign quirky things (openometer) and you tend to hate it or love it. I'm a mini driver and love the car, this could be fun every once and a while.

The study doesn't seem to take into account driving time. Sicne men drive more often than women they are more liekly to crash. I've seen a study comparing crashes per km driven and women are the worse drivers.

Was it built by Dr. Frankenstein? It's a hideous abomination. A disregard for all that is good and pure in this world. Banish it to the depths of hell from whence it came!

Well when I was choosing a new phone a month ago I went with teh Bold over the iphone even though it cost me more. For a few reasons. I'm heavy into txting and the keyboard on the Bold is just superior to txting with the Iphone. Other things such as expandable memory and removable battery sealed it for me. I'm a gamer and if i want to play games ill use a ds. In terms of music playback i still use my ipod, the balckberry is manageable but until theres an auto update for podcasts ill be sticking with the ipod. Also part of the reason was pretty much everyone is getting an iphone, at least with teh Bold i was different. Dumb reason but that was part of it. The screen does appear more crisp but thats obviously because of the smaller size with the same contrast.

I have a Rogers Bold that crapped out and just kept restarting itself. I didn't install any foreign apps either. At least they replaced it for me no problems.

Definetely style over substance. And the style was definetely worth the mudane aspects of the game. The oveworld needs tweaking that's for sure. Cosntantly repeating the same tasks to earn money isn't really fun. But those boss battles are something else
