We don't think the content is valueless. We think it's worth its percentage of the full game we expected to pay $60 for at launch. Those pixels most certainly have a price tag: EA and Bioware will make an incredible amount of money from the launch of Mass Effect 2.
But making a lot of money will never stop a greedy company from nickel and diming loyal customers in the worse ways possible, up and to stripping the Story content from a Story driven game and making most day one customers feel that they are playing an incomplete experience.
Maybe all that is a good excuse to stop playing Bioware/EA games.
This seems like more of a "poor, failed attempt," at being critical when there was no real need. Is it really that much beneath you to find out someone is 'bummed out' by events causing the deaths of others far away from themselves. Our world is worse off, when people like yourself think that the only way a person can feel the effects of far-away conflicts is by being there... hopefully more people can have real empathy no matter where they are, and thus stir the forces of change in this world.
