Great Article!!!

I was a 2K fan. I was one of the 3-5 that received a beta CD from Beta 7. I find myself shaking my head every year when I see madden announce some great new feature that was in 2K so many years ago.

For instance, cut scenes, in game cinema...guess what? 2k had that a long time ago, and I get pissed off every time I think how great NFL 2K would be if they had all these years to improve on it. I think EA knew 2K had a great platform to build on, and that's why they stamped them out. That's why I don't buy Madden. I refuse to support their Monopoly, and lucky for me their game has blew the past few years. Last year was horrible!

I hope someday the NFL pulls their heads out of their asses, and lets other companies compete. I really wish Microsoft would just buy 2K, so they could release NFL 2K as a first party title, and the NFL license deal would be bypassed.

Yeah I love how they are always so careful to say "few unlucky players". That is just crap. Why can no one be honest anymore. Operation Sports has turned into an EA fanboy user base. You seriously won't fine more mature users (the site is awesome), but to have the majority of people on there complaining means you really screwed up.

I can't remember the last time I rented a game with so many bugs...oh wait...Deadliest Catch Alaskan Storm. That was just as buggy easily. Freezing and all. That was a first attempt at a game though, not a mature title. This is really really pathetic, and it's a shame there is no competition to benefit from them dropping the ball. A simple QA pass would have detected a lot of these issues, so I can't understand how it made it out in this state other than them knowing about it, needing to meet a release date, and expecting to patch later. Which if that is the case, things are even worse off than I thought.

They actually said in an E3 interview that if a rock band drum set is detected, the game will adapt to that, and make it so only 4 notes are displayed.

Hopefully they are somewhat helpful. I really have not interest in trying to deceive people. Just thought it was cool, and maybe people who only have Rock Band and want to rent Aerosmith would find it useful.

I also just tried it with the Rock band guitar only plugged in, and it worked just fine. I'm plugged in via the usb hub. This is an xbox360.

I can plug in just one, or my RB and two GH hero guitars. They all show up and they are all playable. I don't know what type of pic I can take to prove it, but it does indeed work.

The rock band guitar is wired and brand new from an RMA I just did. I also just tried it with no usb hub, and it also works just fine.

I actually got the wired Rock band guitar to work with Aerosmith just today. I got home from renting it, my xplorer was still plugged in as well as the rock band guitar, and my son connected the other wireless GH guitar we have. I was shocked when he yelled that we could use the RB guitar.

I didn't believe it and though it would stop working, but got into a song in coop and it worked just fine. I'm not sure how to prove it. I have a camera to take digital picks, but not a camcorder.
