Aren't iPhones available (legally) without contracts in some countries (Hong Kong, I'm sure I've read somewhere recently)? If so, you're can have an iPhone and not be beholden to any contractor to not jailbreak your phone, meaning this app has entirely legit non-infringing/violating/monopoly-theatening uses.
