Sorry but it sounds like you need to update your internet download speed. The app is only 19MB. For me it downloaded in less that two minutes and installed in like 30 seconds.

Go for the PS3. It will last longer and it will be supported longer as well.

The PS3 has a great track record.

As far as games, right now it really does not matter. The majority of the games are multiplatform. As for the exclusives, you will have a similar comperable game on the other console.

Plus, if you get an Xbox and a Blu Ray player you will end up with two items under the tv. The PS3 is only one. Plus it looks better in most tv stands.

The netflix stuff, is something I wish Sony would have but, get what. The PS3 is great dvd upscaler and with other one time fee add on's you can watch NetFlix Streamed movies on the PS3 ( I have not done this my self).

By the way, this is the most level headed PS3 vs 360 I have read and posted on.
