We want more iTablet/iSlate rumors.

Enzo Redux: Lexus LFA buyers will be hand-picked by Lexus

Jan 21st 2010 9:40AM (Autoblog)
Wow, the absolute arrogance of Lexus. Lexus=Arrogance.

Keep it up Lexus, you'll soon be as dicky as BMW and Audi.

I've just scratched Toyota completely off my new car list. Ciao!

Eureka's EMP cannon destined for the Marines? (video)

Jan 20th 2010 1:44PM (Engadget)
And why won't pre-70's vehicles be affected? Because they don't use integrate circuit boards and microprocessors.

Can I now go jack back into the Matrix (modern console gaming system)?

Motorola launching 20-30 Android phones in 2010

Jan 20th 2010 1:39PM (Engadget)
@EI8HT Yeah, I don't get this at all. It seems like a new Android phone comes out every six months. Contracts are usually two years. How are you supposed to build a strong brand around multiple hardware versions? I would be pissed had I bought a G1 or Droid.

I guess it's all about the OS and it's versatility, but everyone wants the latest and greatest now. The three to six month cycle is too fast.

Microsoft calls Android 'free like a puppy,' we can't decide if that's a bad thing or not

Jan 12th 2010 3:15PM (Engadget)
Microsoft, arrogant as usual. While their stock is flat, Google and Apple's continues to dominate the tech sector.

Microsoft, a me too company, past its prime.

Detroit 2010: Chrysler Lancia might be a look into the future

Jan 11th 2010 9:02AM (Autoblog)
Yeah, it's not bad. The rear view mirrors look cheap and the wheels look crappy too...

Saturn did this same car. I forgot what they called it. But it was a four door "station wagon".

I'm still up in the air though, not sure I would bite. Give it some alloys and a more upscale package, I would consider it. Got to have a V6.

EverTune challenges Robot Guitar for in-tune supremacy

Jan 11th 2010 8:56AM (Engadget)
@carnodriver

Uhm, all you "guitar hero's", there's this thing call a Floyd Rose bridge. It's a bridge that locks at the neck and bridge. You tune it and your done. It doesn't go out of tune, unless the strings stretch, which is natural.

Once tuned up, you can beat the shit out of it all day and it still stays in tune...all my axes have em.

Rock on!

The Engadget Interview: Erick Tseng, Senior Product Manager of Android

Jan 8th 2010 3:41PM (Engadget)
@southern78

A face only a mother could love. But seriously, I don't ever remember seeing Peter Rojas or Ryan Block as much as I see Mr. Topolsky. Dude is such an attention hog. Sorry about the Jimmy Fallon thing.

Just sayin'.

Eyes-on with DirecTV 3D

Jan 7th 2010 2:21PM (Engadget)
"but the input probably only accepts a 60Hz signal"

that's the $64K question, or in my case, the $2K question. I can't see why the manufacturers can't upgrade firmware on sets to accept this 120Hz signal via the HDMI input on the TV. I could only assume this is new technology that allows an HDMI input to accept this 120Hz signal.

Still, makes you think, the PS3, with a simple firmware upgrade is going to be 3D compatible. So the same HDMI output that was launched with the system back in 2006 can output a 120Hz signal. My 4 month old set can't interpret this signal? Wow, what a rip. The TV buying cycle shrinks down from 10 years back in the CRT days to, what, three years? This is getting ridiculous.
