I never noticed that it says "Tenacious D" on Riggs' guitar.

Edge: Rage runs at 60fps on 360, 'just 20 to 30fps' on PS3 [update]

I don't get why Joystiq runs baiting posts like this, only to try and caution us in the bodytext to not react in the way that the headline has provoked... I mean, I know its good for traffic and all, but you *really* can't complain when the fanboys go nuts in the comments when you post stuff like this. Like, at all.

*Sigh* More Newton motion control rumors ...

Jul 10th 2008 11:01AM (Joystiq Xbox)
I don't know, i like the idea of an "attachable" set of motion controllers... if it's cool it'll be popular, and if not it'll fail on its own merits... don't see the big deal really.

My biggest problem with the Wii is the console itself, not the controllers. So I like this.

MK VS DC new screens, plus "Brutalities"

Ok that picture is just WRONG.

Nobody does that to Superman.

Except Batman.

And even then, with significant help, and at great expense. :)

Airplanes in Burnout Paradise?

Jul 6th 2008 1:31PM (Joystiq Xbox)
I love Criterion.

I think Burnout Paradise sold "ok", not great, and this is the way they are trying to give the game some legs, by flooding it with high quality DLC over a whole year. It's a fantastic approach.

And they are the Kings of cross-platform development too, they make everyone else look dumb in this regard.

Sony mocks the 360 for its XBLA de-listing and UI

Eric Lempel perhaps should go look at the new LIST feature added to the PS Store; it is an awful lot like scrolling up and down a list. :)

Having said that the Marketplace blade spends too much space on ads and not enough on content, and the scrolling hitches on me a lot.
