Yeah...Rock Band a shameless ripoff of Guitar which just happens be a shameless ripoff of Guitar Freaks and Drum Mania by Konami which have been around since the 90's.

I would use the Rock-It launcher to launch Chuck Norris therefore killing all enemies in a 500 mile radius.

I like the new character design but regret the lack of hat.

Why does everybody say it looks so gimmicky? Maybe a developer is deciding to do something creative and fun for a change...

Why is the 360 mask green? They should have made it red for the ring of death :P

Well it has and IR pointer and a wrist strap spot. I'm not sure what it could be used for though. Nintendo is always full of surprises...unlike microsoft.

It really looks like that's an IR pointer on the front and a place for a wrist strap on the back. The button on top looks like it could be a.....button. I'm not sure what the device could be for.

I like it except the overall shape. I think it should retain the more rounded square shape. Other than that it's awesome.
