Yeah I was bummed when I read this article. I was burned by turning point. I had high hopes for that game. Turned out to be a poorly coded PS2 game. But you never know. I assume lucasarts would fund them a bit more to make sure the game has good quality. All a bad developer needs to do to become a good developer is have money to hire good talent.

People aren't buying Kinects? do you even read Joystiq?

I think between all three of the systems motion controls, kinect is the least realized. But then again, I'm not sure Microsoft expected as much as they did from it. They need to light the fire on their devs to make some awesome games for it.

Not all of us are WoW players. In some ways the game offers a nice challenge.

Awesome way to tell your peace (piece?) Joystiq! Couldn't have said it better myself. We need innovative ways to attack piracy, not government ways. Think of something like iTunes. I'm sure the number of people who casually pirated music dropped after cheap, innovative, and convenient ways of purchasing music came into being. I could be completely wrong on this, but everyone uses iTunes. iTunes makes a lot of money.

Same goes for something like Steam. Make a convenient legitimate way to buy products and services and less people will steal. Oh sure, the same douche bags that steal constantly will constantly steal. As Joystiq said, pirates will go around this SOPA act anyway.

Everyone is saying those numbers HAVE to be skewed and I say so what? It still means the Xbox 360 has been successful even if those numbers are liberal. A purchased console twice still is a purchased console. But in any case, the ps3 and wii have all been successful. It's a good time to be a gamer. I wish people would quit concerning themselves with "sales" because they read into it way too much.

I hate people like you. Big corporations are not a single person, or a single group of people. They are a massive AMOUNT of people. Big companies lose money, guess who else loses money? The little guy. I work for a company of 100 people. It's a local company and Sony is a big customer of us. They get hurt, we get hurt, my family gets hurt.
