never been a fan of kart racers but i think i will enjoy the technical aspect of GT5 kart, even if it looks boring watching someone else playing it.

I hope that the karts have damage as in, if a cart flips you see the driver get smahed along the road,
Dont like the rolling starts should only be grid start unless its nascar.
Looks very boring, I really hope that you can have custom sound tracks, cos Gran turismo music sux.
But i have had this on preorder for over 12 mths now, and believe that this will be the finest game ever made, maybe not the most enjoyable but the time, detail and cash put into this game should put it on top.

I read somewhere that it will be released on 25th Jan.

I really hope this game has a real time weather effects option, For example if your racing on a certain track and if its really raining at that track AT THE TIME YOU PLAY IT, it will be raining in the game.
Same goes for day and time.
Think this would help make it a real driving sim.

Im sure the PC can pump out better graphics than console, But the detail that is going into GT5 will make it shine, not only gameplay and physics but the detail that goes into the models, everything from the gear knob up, is detailed the same as its real life counterpart.

As for PC gaming, it dosent have the same appeal as console gaming, sitting at a desk with one hand on a mouse while fingering the keyboard as you hunch your back two foot from the screen.

GT5 will not only be the best looking console game it will be the best racing game.

Dirt 2 is OK.

Im sure this game will be great in its own right, But you can seen the difference in modling compared to Gran Turismo5.
Im into different types of games but im banking that GT5 is going to be the finest production of any game ever, every aspect of GT5 will be perfect, and it will be the greatest racing game ever made, nothing will compare.
If GT5 is any thing short of perfect I will be one pissed off puppy, I will sell my PS3 and games and retire from my 20years of game play.

You can put Split/Second on the back burner, the demo reminds me of ridge racer with a few more bells.

Look forward to the day when gamplay looks like this trailer. Hopefully the next gen will give it to us.

As for the delay thing, every camera you plug into a TV has delay, dosent matter if its a video camera or web cam it all has delay, Iphone camera or any phone camera has delay, natal has delay, very thing has delay, they cant do anything about it. its just the way of the universe. as long as the processing dosent increase the delay, there will always be a slight DELAY DElay delay.
