As I speak they've already doubled that amount.

But I'm not hopeful for their success, considering that their last original IP wasn't exactly a blockbuster. Maybe they're trying to go with the "Hey, we actually did the original Monkey Island, not just Psychonauts" appeal.

I still don't get why they call it 2048 when they'll be using the same material from a game set 100 years ahead of it.

Okay, it's nice that they added moving WHILE shooting but Leon going Spike Spiegel isn't turning me back onto the series.

I know Squeenix is just the publisher, but I cannot help but imagine this game Squeenixed with belts, zippers, weird hair and cyberpunk trimmings all over the cars.

The openness is nice, but I can't help but think it's more of a concession to the fangirls than anything else.

Following the release date theme, the game would have to be released 9/10/11.

And that would be month-first, not day-first like in Europe.

So is that supposed to be SCEA's equivalent of the Na'vi in the last pic?
