And I just bought a normal MK6 GTI 4 months ago - I feel like a second class citizen now :(
Oh well, I would want DSG in it anyway. I drove stick for 10 years, and the fun I had on weekends just didn't exceed the hassle during my daily commute. The DSG is a better shifter than I could ever be anyway, I don't really miss my stick.
The cheapest car in that group is the lowest end Genesis and that starts at $22K.
In my mind this isn't competing with any of those. It's more competition with the people that would normally buy a cheap 'faux' sport coupe like a tC or an Eclipse and want a little more performance but still can't pay more than $20K for a car.
The render looks so much better than the real thing. What happened?
That doesn't look like matte paint. It just looks like someone did a once over on gloss paint with a scrubbing pad. And that front spoiler looks ridiculous.
It's funny. I don't hate, but I'm not particularly fond of the looks of the regular Veyron (of course when you're talking about Veyrons "regular" is a relative term...). This however, even though the visual tweaks are modest, I think looks great. Just goes to show how a few, relatively minor visual changes can really transform the look of a car.
Why is it that games are terrible or awesome with nothing inbetween, and if a game is legitimately average then it's "terrible" in minds of gamers - most of whom haven't actually played it.
Internet hyperbole really irks me for some reason and many gamers in particular seem to be incapable of taking a rational viewpoint on game quality.
That's because what you're looking at is a plastic sculpture used to promote the film and conventions and not an actual product. They haven't actually made anything yet.
