My Genesis story starts in June of 1990, so my 20 years is in a few months. I walked into the SEGA office in South San Francisco, and talked to a very nice Japanese man who told me that he couldn't find anyone to take this job, as developer support. I told him I'd jump at the chance.

I was employee 83.

I eventually moved on to be a Producer. I was the producer for Taz on the GameGear, Evander Hollyfield Boxing, The Menacer Light gun, GunStar Heroes, Ranger X and a few others.

I can't believe its been 20 years.

I learned a lot from my co-workers, most of whom are still my friends: Clyde, Scott, Chris, Mike, Scott R, Steve... I could go on for awhile.

Mostly I'd like to thank Steve Hanawa. Without you, I would have stayed on the outside of SEGA. I owe you a huge debt.

I'm doing iPhone development and all of Apples docs are in PDF. I don't have to waste paper printing them out, and every few months (weeks) there is a new version. With the native PDF support and searching, I was sold. I put my order in before the presentation was over.
