When they giving out the free Blu-ray drives?

As I understand this, the ONLY people that can get this offer, are those with original Core units, not Arcade, as it's got sufficient space on the memory card (expect you won't be able to save any games).

Anyone else get the impression Microsoft are making this up as they go along?

Anyone really unexcited about this? From what I have seen, it makes navigating slower, and does not really offer anything new (aside from the game installs).

On my 20GB Premium, it will allow me to install 1 game, big whoop. From what I see, it gives a very marginal increase in speed (10 secs GTA IV bootup time), but takes an hour to install.

Sure there is lots of hype, But I can't see why, they are just copying Sony/Apple/Nintendo..

So in short, it's ALWAYS in 1080p, as it's always got more than 1080 lines of vertical resolution, and at times the resolution is greater than 1080p.

Whats crap, is so few 360 games can manage native 1080p (the list is about 3 I seem to recall).

WHo cares it was 2 weeks old. It's fact. that week Xbox sold 840 consoles in Japan, at that rate it will take 6.5 years to reach 1m consoles...

Sorry that the 360 is so shit, than old dumbass Americans buy them, but facts is facts...

You never see any used 360's in Japan for two simple reasons.

1/ They have sold so few of them. You are more likely to find rocking horse sh1t.

2/ Any that were sold have long since failed and gone for landfill.

Go out an buy one, they are the best value console by a massive margin. The best bit, is they work, and are quiet, and got a huge amount of great exclusives, with another boad load just about to land.
