@xiLeShadow You must be joking, where do you get your info? You think Welfare costs 18 times less than Corporate Welfare? It costs far more. Medicare and Social Security cost $1.2 Trillion dollars PER YEAR. Here are my sources: http://www.workinglife.org/blogs/view_post.php?content_id=15190 http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2010/02/01/us/budget.html Notice that the one regarding the cost of Corporate Welfare is actually making the same argument you are, but not even they cast such outlandish figures. The fact that you were upvoted to such an extent really makes me believe that my generation has no idea how the government spends our money and why.
@2late2die You're right, the government has the right to just take 35% right off the top of their profits, because they deserve it. I'm no fan of EA, but taxes on all companies in the U.S. are ridiculous. The loopholes wouldn't be necessary if the government just lowered taxes and actually made it possible for them to run a profitable business without such tactics.
@Raffi256 Not even close. I'm no Sony fanboy, but this will outpace even the fastest Pentium 4 ever made (the 3.8 Ghz Extreme Edition) by a long ways. I would expect this to be on par with nVidia's new Kal-El chip (aka Tegra 3), which boasts about the same performance in benchmarks as a Core 2 Duo. For a handheld device, that's unreal.
Day 1 buy. Top Gear is my favorite TV show (and the first episode of the new season was eye-wateringly good), Forza is my favorite racing game, and I must have the Veyron SS. That being said, I don't like that they make you pay more for the fastest car in the world. It's the one that everyone will want, and it isn't fair to those that are getting the standard game.
Don't you guys see? This thing was clearly built with drifting in mind. Those are to reduce traction, thereby making it easier to break the rear wheels loose with only 150 hp.
Damnit I bought 2 used games yesterday! Gears of War and PGR3. I even bought their EB Edge card for the magazines. Then they go and pull this shit on me!
It's called the Richard Petty Driving Experience. It's nothing too special. You drive around a oval track about a 1/2 mile-1 mile long (just guestimating from seeing it) in a de-tuned NASCAR. You get up to about 140 mph and yeah, someone is in the car with you. Unfortunately, it's also fairly expensive and they only let you do a few laps at a time.
