The Queue: My heat still isn't fixed
Jan 6th 2012 12:50PM (WoW)I use the Marble Mouse (first one linked; ambidextrous with the ball dead center) and have never had a problem with it aside from the lack of a scroll wheel. I do decently well in shooters, including twitch ones like UT2004, and even shoot 'em ups that use the mouse like Beat Hazard.
You're right in that it's all muscle memory as I've been using it for more than a decade now and I don't give it a second thought, considering that I use a normal mouse at work and the only difference I ever think about is the scroll wheel. As a side benefit, having a trackball is a great deterrent to anyone else attempting to use my computer.

Nov 15th 2011 3:47PM (WoW)If you freeze experience gain, do you still gain reputation (specifically, from mobs in dungeon runs)? If so, is there an optimal level/random dungeon for grinding your faction, or would it just be easier to wait until you're high enough to AOE clear a place on your own?
I normally like questing for rep, but I'm planning on switching between multiple characters and it can get tedious, so some mindless dungeon runs would be nice to break it up.
