I guess you are all forgetting about the problems Microsoft still has with hardware and the fact that it probably did not come at a cheap cost to get FFXIII on the 360. This announcement, to me, does not clearly signify that Sony will die off. It will also take a big hit like Metal Gear Solid 5 becoming multiplatform.

I expect Sony are going to be working hard tonight to make their E3 spot something furious. Could we see some God of War 3 material and possibly more PS and PS2 games coming to the PSN? If Sony can work it out, a deal with Blockbuster to distribute movies via PSN could be beneficial.

Sony just really needs to work on getting third party developers on the system with exclusive material. I think some of you are overreacting with "PS3 is dead" with all things considered. It is all in Sony's hands now and we need to see what (if anything) they have up their sleeves.
