Sadly this site is packed full of MMO-Nerds that are used to MMO's there way and refuse to accept any other type or kind of MMO that threatens there way of life.

So they bitch and complain, make up lies and over exagerate it as much as possible to feel good about themselves playing world of warcraft or

It's best to take anything and everything they say with a pinch of salt or..to be safe simply not believe them at all.

Enjoy your time with STO - it aint perfect but it sure isn't as bad as half these clowns like to think.

I have no idea why people who clearly have no interest in playing the game in question feel the need to come into stories that are clearly related to said game and mindlessly rattle on about how much they hate this or hate that or how this doesn't work.

What you hope to achieve is beyond me. Half the stuff your saying isn't true from what I've experienced the other half is mostly true in lots of MMO's and i don't see why they get a free ticket.

Crazy..crazy suggestion but how about you don't click topics about games you don't like and just go in those you do like or aren't sure about. Mindlessly rattling on is nothing short of irritating for those of us that actually like the game and want to discuss it properly.

Being European and not having a credit card this is a massive + for me. I was let down a bit when i got the game and discovered the lack of payment options and had been in talks with there customer care.

Nice to see they rolled this out early on. Good job cryptic.

Eh sorry this isn't majorly related to the article i just thought I'd ask here quickly how this games doing in europe? I'm downloading the trial now but it's a large size so I'm wondering if it's worth doing? Game still good? Still popular?

It is sometimes yes. But not in champions case. I got in touch with there support team..explained i wanted to give them money and they basically said there always looking for new ways to make paying easier for the customer.

In other words bugger off we can't help and we don't want your money. :P I can't be the only one experiencing this problem either..Debit cards are rather popular in the UK many prefer them over credit.

Ah well.

It's a pity I'm still unable to play this game and just discovered i can't even post on there forums anymore cause they have no real options for payment in the UK other than credit card.

Paypal, time cards, debit cards you know..anything would do. Not about to get a CC for one game.

Was an early starter and my characters fine. Hes not plowing through enemies with ease now and I'm actually having to actually try on missions now and team up at times. Which is fantastic I'm after a multiplayer experiance after all. I have batman for my single player fix.

I think the bitching right now is a bit over the top. I'm sure some moves need balancing and tweaking some more you can't expect them to get it perfect. It's an ever changing world you've gotta take the good with the bad.

I don't want to sound like some fanboy of the game here I'm genuinly wondering where these broken and bugged powers are? I've come across none, perhaps some that need balancing but none that are broken or bugged.

This will sound bizzare but are you making this up? I got a headstart without trouble, I've had no trouble on the servers and they've not been down once for me. We're all on the same servers so i don't see how we can have completely different experiances.


and I've not recieved any perks or pets for doing the alien invasion event either but I've also not bothered to try either because of how busy it is.

Which you can hardly blame them for. And looking at there website they've just addressed the community on a few of the big issues like game difficulty and are letting us know what there doing to fix that.

So far it's been one of the better game launches which is a miracle considering how badly the beta launched.

Loving this game so much. I've got the fire flight power and that video didn't do it much justice. :P The cool part is taking off you just fly up kicking your arms and legs like your about to lose control.

Powers are really cool looking too, Putting your hand up and firing out this heat wave towards enemies and firing fireballs out your fists.

Really awesome looking. Just managed to deal with Canada's crisis zone and it's now opened up into this massive zone. That big guy that got summoned at the end of the crisis is something to look forward to i think. I'd bet it's a boss I'll be seeing later.

This game has me sold, awesome. Love it. I'm not going to try and convince anyone to play it because it's a super hero MMOG..and it's certainly not for everyone. But if you get a chance give it a play, get out the tutorial and finish your first crisis area it really picks up.

Highly recommend it.
