Konami announced at its Gamescom conference they're porting versions for both the PS3 and 360.

There's this game that's, uh, coming out in, like, 2013 and we don't, y'know, know anything about it except for the, uh, name, which we already knew, and there's this image of the name. But Fletcher has to reach his quota for the week, so we told him to post about it. Don't forget, 2013 is the year in which this game will be released. We've contacted Itagaki's next door neighbor who sometimes pet-sits for him for further details and will update when we know more. Stay tuned.

It was an egregious example of pageviewing whoring. APB was never considered to be the second coming of MMOs, and no one considered its release an 'event,' but Joystiq treated it as such with this silly "review diary." Other reviewers had no difficulty encapsulating their thoughts into one page and fewer words, effectively managing to convey APB's 2-star-ness. Save the gimmicks for your giveaways and dry cereal breakfasts and such.
