It's nice to see Joystiq take a page out of Kotaku's book on pageview pumping, especially with day no. 1. You installed the game *and* created your character?! Zounds! What a cliffhanger! You've got me riveted, never minding you wrote almost as many words to tell us why a "review diary" exists in the first place as you wrote describing anything having to do with the game.

Besides, to claim diversity existed in the story missions of the first game is laughable. Granted, you had to do *some* things in order to unlock other portions of Liberty City, but it was still a great big bullet-riddled sandbox the minute you exited the garage for the first time.
