as a former FFXi player, and a dragoon at that, seeing the word Gungnir makes me giddy. too bad it's not an epicly awesome spear to thrust in my foes.

That's my problem. I could care less about the early access, because with the whole no grace period thing, I can't play til after christmas since it's a gift. =(

i still haven't figured out which character i'll be giving my "main name" to. either a sniper or something sith related...
i'll probably get in and reserve my alt names first, since they're more commonly used, then go from there. i usually end up re-rolling numerous times at launch, as i'm never fully satisfied with how things go.

technically, when batman won best action/adventure, it also won best xbox360 and something else. so that would be 3 awards at once?

and i found some preshow stream from earlier, and it gave bastion best handheld, best soundtrack, and best original song.

so, it would appear the majority of awards were given out preshow.

The problem isn't that they've had a run of "not up to par" games since X-2. It's that we waited 5 years for XIII, and got a turd sandwhich. Then, 6 months later, we get XIV, which was worse.

The FF brand was killed by two horrible games in one year, after having to wait 5 years since the last installment. And then the announcement that one of the games is having a direct sequel, that isn't the "sequel" the people want. (that being VersusXIII) (or VII for that matter)

After everything with Project Rainfall, hearing about the US not getting a JRPG is just another "business as usual" thing to me.

Finally, something Squeenix related coming out of E3.
I was beginning to wonder if they truely hated us and were saving everything for TGS.

Just cause it's SE doesn't mean it's FF.
It could be a Tri-Ace or Level-5 devolped game.
Star Ocean Online? Dragon Quest Online? A totally new IP?
I don't see SE having 3 seperate FF-entity online titles running at one time.
