Mar 26th 2010 10:40AM (Joystiq)Major Nelson does have ~300GB free space because Microsoft is the company that makes these Hard Drives and he works for them. So they could take almost any 2.5 HDD (like they did with 20GB, 60GB, 120GB and 250GB before) and have it formatted in a certain way so that it will work with your xbox.
MS often uses bigger Hard Drives at events like E3 or for promotional pictures taken from dev kits just look on the internet you might find some with over 120GB.
So they might introduce bigger HDDs in the future but this is not an announcement or so.

Jan 21st 2010 2:41PM (Joystiq Xbox)17b /24h / 365,25d = 1,939,310 years, 11 months, 20 days and 17 hours
OR: 1.939310 MILLION YEARS!!
In comparison: Halo 3 matchmaking (game time only) had about 64,000 years in March of 2009.
