Imagine there was only the Arcade model with just the most basic equipment: Many people want to download things from Xbox Live, they need a hard drive to store it. Not everybody wants to spend extra money after the already got the console.

Now if there was only the Elite model, what about those who only want to use the console to watch TV? I have one broken Xbox 360 in my house (that cannot be used to play games because it crashes), but it works fine as a Media Center Extender. Also we shouldn't forget about the people who need a replacement console.

About Vista: Well I can imagine different people demanding different versions. OK, the versions of Vista were not so streamlined, but take a look at Windows 7: There is just one version the average user must really consider to purchase: Home Premium. If you want more (Professional, Ultimate), you probably know enough about PCs to know what you need.

I'm gonna buy the 120 bucks edition just for the Eminem/Jay-Z CD. If there's unreleased music on it, I gotta buy it.

What he meant to say is that Xbox 360 Hard Drives are overpriced, and most people only have 20GB and most of that is full and they cannot use it.

These complaints come up at every post about anything to download that is a little bit bigger.

But you don't have to use so either buy a bigger hard drive or don't buy it, but stop complaining everywhere.

Yeah it's not so long ago I bought my new Arcade with 265MB, thinking it would be the best until maybe the end of this year.

No way! According to wikipedia, as of Jan 14th, 2009, Xbox 360 has sold 27.93 million units worldwide and the Wii as of now 50 million. The Xbox 360 and the Wii had definitly sold more than 4.7 or 10.2 units, respectivly.

Even if you are talking about sales only within the US, you are wrong because the Xbox 360 was the first of all current-gen consoles to pass 10 million sales in the US.

I know those stats ain't the best but I was not so good in the beginning of my Halo 3 carrer and therefore my stats only increase slowly. Nowaday I have almost always more Kills than Deaths.
Furthermore, I know every map by heart (except for the new Mythic Maps, I'm still learning them).
I play Halo almost every day with my friend and I have over 1200 EP.
I would be really delighted to play Halo against Bungie and to defend Joystiq's pride!

Assembly, because it's a small map good for 6-8 players like in rumble pit, what I mostly play with my friends.
