Wii-tarded wiinjurie jokes escalating

Dec 21st 2006 7:35AM (Joystiq)
Why does G4 try to be so funny, even after failing miserably. Between stupid, inane, time-filler skits on X-Play and Kevins smug face and forced punchlines on AOTS this channel just needs to die.

Where in the world are Joystiq readers?

Nintendo to replace 3.2 million Wii straps [update 1]

Dec 15th 2006 8:15AM (Joystiq)
@drew, dazza & niels

AMEN!!
But, trying to get these Ninty fanboys to admit that Nintendo screws up just like anyone else, is like trying to get your dog to understand Quantum Physics. It just ain't gonna happen. I applaud your efforts anyway.

Sony: Blu-Ray on PS3 has "nothing to do with movies"

Oct 17th 2006 12:48PM (Joystiq)
Gee Mr. Snow, or should I call you by your initials B.S. yeah that's more fitting, It is becoming pretty obvious that you and "vc" are very anti-Sony. I myself have no problem with that, however, please don't let it effect you professionalism or lack thereof since all it does is provide fodder for the masses. I know that advertising dollars mean a lot to you, but to what extent? If you are so desperate as to continiously stoop this low in the faces of your readers in order to make ends meet, then seek out other employment opportunities. The readers, however, shouldn't have to suffer through your blatantly obvious fanboy drivel in order to get to the real news.

Nintendo Wii or Tickle Me Elmo?

Oct 17th 2006 10:45AM (Joystiq)
Tickle Me Elmo, Wii.
There's really not much difference, except one is fun and has lasting entertainment value and the other one's made by Nintendo. ;)

Taxing Second Life [update 1]

Thank goodness we don't have to pay taxes in my country, well except for import taxes, and those can get pretty steep sometimes.

Tom Taylor on getting paid to play video games

Oct 12th 2006 4:56PM (Joystiq)
Oh yeah, that's a great idea kids, just drop outta school to play games. When you realize 5 years down the road that your dream ain't workin' out the way you hoped, you can always go back for a GED. Sure it was 5 years down the toilet but at least you'll have the memories. And btw, who says you can't live a happy life on minimum wage.

I would really like to see what he does when he loses his endorsements. Or does he think that this'll last a lifetime?

Some Resistance news from Ted Price's mouth... blog.

@stumpie
Stop being such a fakeboy, you posted the same exact thing over at joystiq even though it had nothing to do with the topic. Get a life. And BTW, Gamespot is the biggest gaming website, not IGN, and their list of most popular (i.e. searched for, previews/reviews read, pictures looked at etc.) games doesn't have one Xbox360 game. Just take a look on the Gamespot homepage. Now please, leave us.

Shell head and Stretcho highlight new Alliance trailers

Ghost Rider, Elektra, Spider-woman and Deadpool.
And let's all pray that the Ghost Rider movie doesn't suck.

Microsoft to drop Xbox 360 price by $100?

Sep 29th 2006 5:42PM (Joystiq)
@KBeat
I highly doubt there will be a price drop but don't go by Peter Moore's or any other official's statement, because we all know that they'll never admit to a price drop. It makes no sense, economically speaking, since everyone would just wait for the price drop instead of buying one now. Seriously, think about it.
