We really have seen the turning point where Western games have gone a year or two ahead of the Japanese. I never wanted to admit it because I was happy with our Japanese masters in the 90's. They really did stand still the last few years and we've progressed past them. They just NOW are fiddling with crappy DRM type tactics? Can't they look at the failure it brought certain western games already? Are they truly so xenophobic that they still can't believe we've already tried DRM and have it fail miserably? This is why Japanese gaming is set to fail.

Yeah, before the Halloween 2010 update a world could be a "snow" world or a "temperate" world. The snow never stopped in the snow world, and there was never snow in the temperate worlds. With the edition of biomes we lost snow, but got several types of terrain. Now we have precipitation with the terrains, so biomes are a more complete feature of ALL worlds.

Yeah, really couldn't call it "broken", more like removed since it was pretty silly back then to have an entire world in snow, or no snow at all.

I think Sony will stick with Blu-ray media, but Microsoft will go with some sort of solid state cartridge. The console wars will continue as the Xbox720 people will post "load times suck" after every PS4 game posted. Sony will have Move integrated while Microsoft will have Kinect as a add on, PS4 fans will say "Microsoft nickles and dimes you" posts everywhere.

I only buy the Gran Turismo games that have qualifying before the racing. I play these games with a semi-RPG mentality and the only way to do that with a GT that doesn't let you qualify is to imagine you qualify LAST every single race, but somehow WIN despite of this. I can't suspend reality(even a false one) and convince myself of that.

I feel Breeland is underrated.

This area is vast and varied in many ways. Arguably the best designed town in game can be found here at Bree. There are several other towns here that are very functional and coherent in its quests, including Combe and its near by large forest. Then you have a little taste of the Shire when you go to Staddle. Staddle has a whole series of linked and interesting quests there, its actually my favorite quest hub(Played several years, had finished every raid and had many 1st ages before Mirkwood came out).

You have lakes, rivers, burrows, large forests, haunted forests, magical forests. Bree was everything that North Downs and Lonelands were not, and I think that played a major part in lots of WoW-converts leaving(I had a whole guild quit in the Lonelands/North Downs area that were having fun in Bree).
