I rarely game online so Live is not worth it for me. The fact that they restrict special sales to Gold members only is irritating as, to me, the only reason to have Live is if you play online. Why say my money is worth less to M$ than a Gold members money?

My biggest beef with M$ is the fact that they require you to purchase a Gold membership for each individual rather than allow the membership to be assigned to a single family machine. I shouldn't have to pay for Live 3 times just to get myself and my two oldest children online. We shared one account while we did have Live and all I heard from my kids was complaints because they couldn't get certain achievements. Too bad. Achievements are not worth an extra $100 per month.

Oh, yes, I know Live memberships can be found cheaper than $50. It just is not worth the money for me even at $30.

Gears of War 2: Fenix Rises

I tried the Netflix viewing from PC and was unimpressed with the video quality. Granted I only have 1.5mb down but that should have gotten me the middle grade level quality not the LOW level quality. No way will I renew my Live for that.
