forgot to mention, although muramasa isn't technically a platformer, it does have platforming elements.

Wii seems to be getting a lot of platformers lately (NSMB Wii, Boy and his blob, masamune , & NyxQuest)

Good to see this, it puts me at ease. Sega was showing off Sands of Destruction, but not this and it made me a little worried. I guess Sega thinks Sands needs more attention as it's a new IP, while Phantasy Star is not.

I know, given Nintendo Joystiq's obsession, I mean love of all things Professor Layton. Not that I blame them, the game (curious village) is superb. :D

looks like a fun little game. nothing special, but still fun. It also looks like a better take on the fossil monster battler then spectrobes (sp?). *Goes to try the demo*
