Man, I remember playing Contra 4. The first time I started the game on normal I was like "Psh, it can't be THAT hard." I lasted 30 seconds before I ran out of lives. I've never felt so satisfied when I beat a level. I EARNED that next level.

I was planning on getting a new subscription so I did today. I went ahead and got the Assault Heroes theme. It's still not letting me download the game. What am I missing

I agree with you. I just got it and...sad to say but it's kinda standard fare to me. The fight system was novel for a while but things weren't that...varied.

In a regular turn based system, you have several moves close at hand in every battle, but with the way the fighting is in this game you're stuck with a basic attack, and one light and dark attack at a time. Maybe the gameplay gets deeper as I level up my party? And how about costumes and items changing on each character as they were equipped? That would have given it a little more variety. IDK, I just felt it could have been better.

All in all, I think it's a "fair" trade: Eternal Sonata for Final Fantasy, lol. I'm not complaining :)
