If this doesn't have Games For Windows LIVE support and Achievements then whats the point.

I'm not expecting it to work with that system, but it would be great if they could make it work.

If you think Gears 2 will be multi platform you're seriously mistaken. Epic is just the dev of that game, it's a Microsft Games Studio game. They're the publisher. It will never go to another platform. MSG would get rid of Epic and have another dev make it before it'd go multi-platform.

$25 is not a lot of money for the time it takes to do something like this. You might think it's a simple database change, but if you really think about it, imagine all the stuff that is tied to you character. Money, bank items, bag items, honor, etc all needs to be move over and accounted for.

If you are in a situation where you really need a transfer, $25 is not such a steep price to pay. Go mow a lawn or two.

be glad you aren't paying $50+ like in EQ.
