All the trainers and bots is what turned me off pc games and action replay turned me off ps2 games. Thats the reason why i love xbox live. Secure system. Cheating doesnt last long (some exploits do but no outright blatant cheating).

I pay 50 bucks a year just for the chance of playing an online game without action reply, or trainers, or all these other hacks. Yes they do show up with modded xboxs once anda while. But they dont last long.....

you hit it right on the nail with that statement. And all japanese know about the xbox. Just like here..there isnt any 'PS3' commercials out but we all know that its coming and exactly when it is coming (well according to what $ony says). When is the last time you seen any Japanese screaming to get a product not made in japan?
Actually i'd like to point out that most of joystiqs articles mirrors other sites news. Some of it is exclusive but some of it isnt. So when you say Joystiq is sony bashing you need to realize that same story is run over multiple sites (but not necessarily the same wording and i usually get little bits of more details reading multiple takes on the same story). Joystiq is just reporting the news and ive heard the 'this site is againest sony' on a lot of them. Why is that? Maybe because Sony is givening everyone a lot of BAD news to report perhaps?

This is just an opinionated observation but Japanese automakers had a deal a during the 80s that forbide each other from bashing each other in the States (but it was ok to bash american automakers). I wouldnt be surprised if some kind of agreement has been made here since there has always been a lack of negative propaganda between nintendo and $ony.

No.. First came online computer games, then came the dreamcast with its built in modem then sony copied it. (actually i even remember a thing about sega or nintendo trying it back in the early 90s as well)

Yeah lets sit here and give them a big high five for giving us an insecure network for playing games on that was riddled with cheats and hacks and absolutely no support to combat those problems. PS2 online games wsd worse then a joke.
I have a ps2 for certain games and an xbox for certain games and online gaming. Im no xbox fan boy so when you respond dont go there :)
