@teeftwo sadly, missed this, bought on origin, and got stiffed.

A platform, Karkand, and Battlefield 3

Feeling pretty irritated, tbh, about this free dlc except for origin customers.

They are still selling limited editions for consoles in my local gamestop.

But download on pc? No such luck. Even more annoying - I was (stupidly) waiting for it to come on Steam, not realising it was an origin only game.

So I miss the preorder, and think sucks, I'll try out origin. To discover that the prize of trying origin is losing a third of the game.

Grr...

This was indeed fantastic, Take some annoying plastic toys, add some stop motion magic, throw in some simple effects and music from BSG and voila - awesomeness.

If only we had this kind of money to help provide information to people dealing with humanitarian emergencies. But then, that's a silly idea. That's just about saving lives, whereas this is about patting virtual animals.

@Negatron you could say fickle, and you could say mentally-balanced. I imagine most sane people play a while, enjoy the ride as the level and try a few dungeons, then move onto something else.

"End game" play is really for obsessive compulsives - people who enjoy repeating the same activities again, and again, and again, and again...

I am with MinkLei. I enjoy WoW plenty, but I am not about to turn it into a lifetime commitment.

WRUP: Still Reaching

Oct 16th 2010 2:18AM (Joystiq)
Reach still has me, but also spending time on CiV, messinfg around with the new WoW patch ( i am a very occasional player, but like popping in every few months), and a slew of iPhone games - including the awesome Broken Sword. I also messed around with Vindictus, which is pretty great for a free to play (for the mo).

Games sitting in line but not getting enough playtimes = Starcraft II, Red Dead Red and MW2
